Back to Work & Breastfeeding


Vanessa Prinz, IBCLC and part-time working mother of four, leads our Back to Work class. The class is ideal for moms going back to work or already back at work. Vanessa will lead participants through a step-by-step guide to returning to work. Topics:

  • how much milk to store and offer per day

  • planning with your employer and your legal rights

  • pumping equipment, fit, technique and frequency, hand expression

  • bottle introduction and technique

  • breast milk management and storage

  • caregiver training

  • milk supply concerns

Babies are welcome! You are welcome to breastfeed or pump during class if needed. Refunds cannot be given for missed class. If you are unable to attend, we will offer you a make up class at the next scheduled offering or will arrange for materials to be sent to you and schedule a 15 minute follow up phone consultation with Vanessa to answer questions you may have about the materials.
